Il Museo Roger Raveel è situato in un edificio contemporaneo, bianco e lineare, progettato dall'architetto Stéphane Beel e si trova nel pittoresco centro del villaggio di Machelen.
Oltre alla collezione permanente con opere dell'artista Roger Raveel, ci sono anche regolarmente mostre.
Ogni 2 anni si svolge la biennale. Questa è una collaborazione tra il museo di Deinze e la regione della Leie (Mudel) e il museo Dhondt Dhaenens a Deurle.
Il Museo Roger Raveel è anche un ufficio turistico dove è possibile ritirare brochure turistiche gratuitamente e dove è possibile richiedere informazioni turistiche.
