Il Parco di Beervelde è un parco di 25 ettari che è stato progettato e realizzato nel 1873 in stile paesaggistico inglese. L'intento dei committenti, i Conti de Kerchove de Denterghem, era di far funzionare il parco come una vetrina per il nascente settore floricolo di Gand. Ancora oggi, 135 anni dopo, la famiglia de Kerchove de Denterghem è ancora strettamente coinvolta nella promozione del settore floricolo di Gand. Il Conte André è l'attuale presidente dell'associazione senza scopo di lucro che organizza le Florali di Gand. Il Conte Renaud gestisce il Parco di Beervelde e organizza a metà maggio e a metà ottobre le celebri Giornate del Giardino di Beervelde, dove è possibile visitare questi splendidi giardini.
