Écaussinnes è un comune nella provincia belga di Hainaut. Il nome del luogo è stato menzionato per la prima volta nel XII secolo sotto il nome Scalcinis. Conta circa 11.000 abitanti. Il comune è nato nel 1977 dalla fusione di tre comuni più piccoli, tutti con Écaussinnes nel nome; per questo motivo, nel linguaggio comune si parla a volte di "des Écaussinnes". Il comune è attraversato dal torrente Sennette. A est scorre il Canale Bruxelles-Charleroi. L'area industriale di Feluy lungo questo canale si trova per gran parte nel territorio di Écaussinnes.
