La parte sudest del comune, attorno al luogo Hachy, appartiene alla zona linguistica lussemburghese.
Il comune comprende dieci località: Anlier, Habay-la-Neuve, Habay-la-Vieille, Hachy, Harinsart, Houdemont, Marbehan, Nantimont, Orsainfaing e Rulles. Di queste località, solo Anlier si trova interamente nelle Ardenne. Il resto del comune si trova nella regione della Gaume. Il capoluogo del comune, Habay-la-Neuve, si trova al confine. Il torrente Rulles, che attraversa anche Habay-la-Neuve, è considerato il confine tra le due regioni. Presso Habay-la-Vieille si trova Mageroy, una villa gallo-romana che era abitata tra il primo e il quarto secolo della nostra era.
