Den sydøstlige del af kommunen, omkring stedet Hachy, tilhører det luxembourgske sprogområde.
Kommunen omfatter ti steder: Anlier, Habay-la-Neuve, Habay-la-Vieille, Hachy, Harinsart, Houdemont, Marbehan, Nantimont, Orsainfaing og Rulles. Af disse steder ligger kun Anlier helt i Ardennerne. Resten af kommunen ligger i regionen Gaume. Kommunens hovedsted Habay-la-Neuve ligger på grænsen. Den lille flod Rulles, som også løber gennem Habay-la-Neuve, betragtes som grænsen mellem de to regioner. Ved Habay-la-Vieille ligger Mageroy, en gallo-romersk villa, der var beboet mellem det første og fjerde århundrede efter vores tidsregning.
