Stabroek è un villaggio e comune nella provincia belga di Anversa. Il comune conta oltre 18.000 abitanti. Nel villaggio di Stabroek si tiene ogni anno il gioco folkloristico 'gansrijden'. Hoevenen è l'altro grande centro e frazione del comune. Stabroek è menzionato per la prima volta in una lettera del 9 giugno 1258 di Nicola III di Fontaines, vescovo di Cambrai, al capitolo di O.-L.-Vrouw di Anversa come Staecbruc. In seguito il nome si evolve in Staeckebruuc e Staeckbroeck. Stabroek prende il nome dalla palude che è stata 'autorizzata' dal duca di Brabante con legno delle vicine foreste.
