Zandvoorde è un villaggio nella provincia belga di West-Vlaanderen e una frazione di Zonnebeke. Zandvoorde è un villaggio agricolo e orticolo, nel paesaggio ondulato a sud della provincia. La prima menzione risale al 990, come Sanfort. "Voorde" è un luogo attraversabile. Zandvoorde si trova su una collina ed era nelle vicinanze della strada romana che passava per Kruiseke. Per diversi motivi, deve quindi essere stata un luogo di insediamento sicuro. Accanto alla chiesa anche la nobiltà a Zandvoorde aveva influenza.
