Oetingen è un villaggio e una frazione di Gooik nella provincia belga del Brabante Fiammingo e nella regione geografica del Pajottenland. Oetingen era un comune autonomo fino alla ristrutturazione comunale del 1977. Il villaggio ha preservato abbastanza bene il suo carattere rurale, anche se negli ultimi anni ci sono sempre più progetti edilizi che lo minacciano. L'attuale centro del villaggio, formato dalla piazza rettangolare con la chiesa, il municipio e il parroccato, è emerso solo nel 1860 quando "il vecchio luogo", dove storicamente si trovavano la chiesa, il parroccato, il castello locale e la fattoria, è stato abbandonato per il nuovo centro.
