Floriffoux è un villaggio sulla riva sinistra della Sambre, a 10 chilometri a ovest della città di Namur. Oggi fa parte amministrativamente del comune di Floreffe, nella provincia di Namur. Era un comune a pieno titolo prima della fusione dei comuni del 1977. Situato nella valle della Sambre, il villaggio presenta un'importante differenza di altitudine tra il basso e l'alto della valle, con un dislivello di 111 metri su una distanza di circa 1 km in linea d'aria. Questo importante dislivello è all'origine di grandi differenze di temperatura tra l'alto e il basso del villaggio, specialmente durante alcune notti d'inverno.
