Westkerke è un villaggio nella provincia belga del West-Vlaanderen e una frazione della città di Oudenburg. Era un comune indipendente fino alla riorganizzazione comunale del 1977. Situato su un rialzo sabbioso, Westkerke è un antico insediamento che si staccò precocemente dalla parrocchia del vicino Roksem. Westkerke costituiva una base operativa per le bonifiche delle terre più basse e per l'allevamento di pecore nelle saline. Il diritto patronale della parrocchia era in mano all'abbazia di Sint-Bertinus a Saint-Omer. Anche l'abbazia di Sint-Pieters di Oudenburg e i Templari vi avevano possedimenti.
