La provincia di Oost-Vlaanderen ha costruito un magnifico centro sportivo lungo la Boerekreek lunga 6 km. La Oostpolderkreek (2 km) e la Bentillekreek (2,5 km) sono nelle vicinanze. Attraverso questa area naturale scorre il canale Leopold, da Boekhoute a Heist, scavato a metà del 19° secolo per rimuovere l'acqua e quindi anche la malaria da questa regione. In direzione del nodo 82, pedaliamo attraverso un'area protetta per gli uccelli nidificanti. Si prega di godere rispettosamente di questo angolo naturale delle Fiandre!
