Il confine secondo il Trattato di Kortrijk (1820) tra Wannehain e Esplechin
Il Trattato di Kortrijk fu firmato il 28 marzo 1820 nell'attuale Museo Broel nella città belga di Kortrijk. Con questo trattato fu stabilito il confine tra la Francia e il Regno Unito dei Paesi Bassi (sotto Guglielmo I). Fatte alcune piccole correzioni, questo confine corrisponde ancora oggi al confine nazionale tra Belgio e Francia e Lussemburgo e Francia.
