Il Visbeek si trova nel territorio dei comuni di Lille e Wechelderzande nelle campagne di Anversa. L'area comprende il Visbeek con la sua valle ed è delimitata dagli insediamenti di Wechelderzande a ovest, dal confine comunale con Vlimmeren a nord, da foreste di conifere a ovest e dall'autostrada E34 a sud. Quest'ultima costituisce anche una barriera durevole tra le aree vallive del Visbeek e del Kindernouwbeek. Si tratta di un complesso variegato di terreni agricoli in piccola scala, resti di brughiera, foreste di conifere e decidue e paludi.
