Description

Castello d'acqua quadrato con un cortile trapezoidale sul lato nord. Situato nella valle dello Struysbeek, in particolare su un'isola formata dalla biforcazione del Vliet, da questo punto chiamato Struysbeek. Questo Struysbeek o Vliet nasce a Luythagen (Mortsel) e sfocia nell'Esca a Schelle ed è comunemente chiamato Schellevliet. Castello situato in un vasto e straordinariamente prezioso dominio a nord-ovest del comune, adiacente al dominio del castello di Hemiksem. Dominio boschivo, con prato attorno al castello, chiuso da una siepe con alcuni cancelli costituiti da pilastri di arenaria a blocchi con vaso decorativo, tra i quali una cancellata in ferro battuto.
