Questo castello un tempo era una fattoria. All'inizio del 20° secolo fu ristrutturato in castello da Clément Peten, deputato e sindaco di Velm. In seguito, il castello fu venduto alle Suore della Carità che vi istituirono una scuola con collegio.
Nel 2005 il castello fu acquistato da un promotore immobiliare. Da allora, il castello fa parte di un sito residenziale per anziani. All'interno del castello c'è una brasserie con hotel.
