La chiesa è nota soprattutto per la benedizione degli animali nella chiesa l'11 novembre per commemorare l'armistizio in occasione della festa della caccia. I corni da caccia accompagnano la benedizione.
Questo edificio neoclassico fu costruito nel 1848 sul sito del Collège des Augustins. Il bel colore dei mattoni della facciata e il design degli interni semplice ma luminoso catturano l'attenzione.
All'ingresso, i dipinti ricordano l'epopea di Godfrey van Bouillon .
Ai lati sono dipinti sul Vangelo e sulla vita di Gesù.
Nel 2017 è stata installata una nuova statua di Sant'Eloi .
