Ci troviamo presso l'IJse. Questo è un fiume che ha origine nel bosco di Soignes a Sint Genius-Rode. Poi l'IJse scorre attraverso Hoeilaart, Overijse, Huldenberg e Loonbeek per sfociare infine a Neerijse nel Dijle. La valle dell'IJse è caratterizzata da numerose sorgenti, spesso al confine tra la valle e il pendio. La valle è riempita con materiale argilloso e limoso e si trova sull'argilla di Kortrijk.
