Questa “grotta” fu creata poco dopo il 1930 su iniziativa dell’abate Gustave Hubaux, parroco di Dieupart, morto nel 1935.
È anche chiamato "Arcade de la vierge" (Arco della Vergine).
Si trova lungo il "sentier du docteur Thiry" che attraversa la zona denominata "ruins du chateau de vieux jardin" ed è visibile dalla strada N633 nei pressi della chiesa Notre-Dame de Dieupart.
Nel 2024 la statua della Vergine Maria sembra essere scomparsa.
