Houffalize è una città belga nella provincia di Lussemburgo, situata sulla riva dell'Ourthe. La città conta circa 5000 abitanti.
In Houffalize c'erano un tempo tre castelli. Il più recente - risalente al XVII secolo - fu distrutto da un bombardamento durante la battaglia delle Ardenne. Nella chiesa di Santa Caterina si trova un gisant ben conservato scolpito in calcare nero per il conte Diederik II di Houffalize, risalente al XIII secolo. La chiesa è l'unico resto di un antico monastero.
