Partendo dal villaggio "Steenstraete", segui attraverso la rete di punti esistenti il canale Ieperleekanaal e da Lo-Reninge l'Ijzer. Questo percorso ti offre - attraverso i suoi monumenti e le sue lapidi - una bella panoramica di tutto ciò che è accaduto qui durante "la grande guerra" e la battaglia per l'Ijzer. Nell'ultima parte lungo l'Ijzer, pedali attraverso la porzione di terra che qui è stata sommersa durante la guerra.
