Alt-Schauenburg è un castello in rovina nel comune di Frenkendorf, in Svizzera. Si trova vicino al confine tra Francia e Germania, e poco del castello rimane a causa di eventi geologici.
C'erano due castelli di Schauenburg vicino a Frenkendorf, Alt-Schauenburg circa 1 km a sud-ovest del villaggio sulla cima della collina di Chleiflüeli e Neu-Schauenburg a ovest. Alt-Schauenburg fu probabilmente costruito intorno al 1275 come sede di un ramo minore della famiglia Schauenburg. Il castello fu occupato per meno di un secolo. Il terremoto di Basilea del 1356 distrusse gran parte del castello e poco dopo le rovine furono abbandonate. Le rovine furono gradualmente sepolte, fino al 1949-50 quando furono scavate e riparate. Nel 1976-77 ulteriori costruzioni hanno contribuito a preservare il sito.
