Il castello di Trostburg è un piccolo castello nel comune di Teufenthal nel Canton Argovia in Svizzera.
Il castello fu probabilmente costruito nel 12 ° secolo, anche se non si sa nulla della sua storia antica. Ad un certo punto nel 12 ° o all'inizio del 13 ° secolo una linea junior si trasferì a breve distanza e costruì il castello di Liebegg vicino a Gränichen. Il 28 maggio 1241 Burkhart I di Trostberg e il suo parente Ludovico di Liebegg appaiono in un documento come testimoni e cavalieri non liberi al servizio dei conti di Kyburg. Nel 1253 Burkhart firmò il suo nome come Burchardus Barhandus de Trostberc. Alla fine passarono dal servizio di Kyburg al servizio degli Asburgo. Nel 1317 un cavaliere di nome Rudolf von Trostberg era il vogt asburgico al castello di Kyburg.
