Il Museo svizzero dei Trasporti è un museo localizzato a Lucerna in Svizzera, è dedicato ai trasporti ed alle comunicazioni e vanta il record di essere il più visitato della Confederazione Elvetica con 724.588 ingressi nel 2012. Vanta una vasta collezione di locomotive, automobili, barche, aerei ed altro, così come un'esposizione dedicata alle telecomunicazioni. Il gestore è l'Associazione del Museo Svizzero dei Trasporti .
Il museo nacque con l'idea di essere una mostra permanente dedicata alle ferrovie. Fu fondato nel 1942 con sede a Zurigo avente il contributo delle Ferrovie Federali Svizzere e delle poste svizzere oltre che ferrovie private, organizzazioni di trasporti e grandi imprese industriali. Tuttavia dato che non si trovò una area idonea per costruire il museo come progettato, la città di Lucerna offrì all'associazione uno spazio di 40.000 m² per la sua costruzione.
