La battaglia di Austerlitz , detta anche battaglia dei tre imperatori, fu l'ultima e decisiva battaglia svoltasi durante la guerra della terza coalizione, parte delle guerre napoleoniche.Fu combattuta il 2 dicembre 1805 nei pressi della cittadina di Austerlitz tra la Grande Armée francese composta da circa 73 000 uomini comandati dall'imperatore Napoleone Bonaparte e un'armata congiunta, formata da russi e austriaci, composta da oltre 85 000 uomini comandati dal generale russo Michail Illarionovič Kutuzov, con la collaborazione del generale austriaco Franz von Weyrother che era stato l'ideatore del piano di battaglia austro-russo.
