Kohren-Sahlis è una frazione della città di Frohburg nel sud del distretto di Lipsia in Sassonia. Fino al 31 dicembre 2017 è stata una città autonoma, conosciuta soprattutto per l'artigianato della ceramica. Costituisce il centro della regione di Kohrener Land.
Kohren-Sahlis si trova circa a metà strada tra Lipsia e Chemnitz. Confina a nord con Frohburg, a nord-est e a est con la città di Geithain e a sud con la città di Penig nel distretto di Mittelsachsen. A ovest, Kohren-Sahlis confina con i comuni thuringiani di Langenleuba-Niederhain e Windischleuba. Il piccolo fiume Wyhra e i tre leggendari ruscelli Maus, Ratte e Katze scorrono attraverso Kohren-Sahlis.
