Rödinghausen è un comune nel nord-est della Germania, nel Land della Renania Settentrionale-Vestfalia, a circa 30 chilometri a nord di Bielefeld. Con quasi 10.000 abitanti, Rödinghausen è il comune più piccolo del circondario dell'ostwestfälischer Kreis Herford. Nei suoi confini attuali, è stata creata nel 1969 dalla fusione di cinque comuni precedentemente autonomi dell'ufficio di Rödinghausen. La colonizzazione della fertile terra di Ravensberger può essere documentata fin dal 851.
