Waldstetten è un comune nel circoscrizione dell'Ostalb nel Baden-Württemberg orientale. Fa parte della zona periferica della regione metropolitana di Stoccarda.
Waldstetten si trova ai piedi settentrionali dello Stuifen, nel foreland dell'Alb Schwabico orientale, ai margini della valle del Rems, a un'altezza compresa tra 350 e 781 metri. Confina con il territorio urbano di Schwäbisch Gmünd, nonché con le città di Lauterstein e Donzdorf appartenenti al distretto di Göppingen e, attraverso un'exclave disabitata del territorio comunale, anche con il comune di Ottenbach.
