Unterbreizbach si trova nella parte bassa della Valle dell'Ulster. Nella comunità sfocia come affluente di sinistra il Breizbach, comunemente chiamato dagli abitanti "il Bach". Le elevazioni più evidenti sono il Lohberg a est e l'Ulsterberg a sud, così come l'enorme discarica di potassa tra Hattdorf e Unterbreizbach.
Le frazioni meridionali si trovano nell'area di alimentazione dell'Oechse con l'affluente di sinistra Sünna. Il Dietrichsberg e il Sattelsberg delimitano questa valle secondaria.
La quercia da vino conosciuta nella popolazione come "quercia grassa" al Kornberg è stata dichiarata monumento naturale nel 1956. Il tiglio di Sophie davanti alla chiesa, un tiglio invernale di oltre 150 anni, è stato messo sotto protezione nel 1994.
