La città di Warendorf è una città di media grandezza appartenente a un distretto e capoluogo del distretto di Warendorf. Si trova nel distretto governativo di Münster, nel nord del Nordrhein-Westfalen. La città è conosciuta a livello regionale per le annuali parate dei stalloni dell'Ippodromo del Nordrhein-Westfalen.
Warendorf si trova sull'Ems nella parte orientale della Münsterland.
