Niederkassel è una città nel distretto di Rhein-Sieg, nel sud della Renania Settentrionale-Vestfalia. Si trova tra Colonia e Bonn.
La città di Niederkassel si estende per quasi 12 km lungo la riva destra del Reno, il quartiere di Niederkassel si trova al chilometro 666 del Reno. Niederkassel si trova tra le grandi città o i centri principali di Colonia, Bonn e Troisdorf, che sono raggiungibili in 20 minuti grazie a comodi collegamenti di trasporto. Nel sud della città, a Mondorf, il Sieg si immette nel Reno.
