Il duomo di Colonia è una chiesa cattolica, il cui nome ufficiale è chiesa dei Santi Pietro e Maria . Con le sue Torri cuspidate di ben 157 metri di altezza, è la seconda chiesa più alta della Germania, dopo il Duomo di Ulma , e la terza più alta al mondo.
Dal 1880 fino almeno al 1884 questa cattedrale è stata l'edificio più alto del mondo. È inoltre una delle maggiori attrattive turistiche della Germania: nel 2004 è stata visitata da circa 6 milioni di persone.
