La centrale elettrica Schilling era una centrale elettrica alimentata a olio pesante con tre blocchi da 125 MW ciascuno, situata nelle vicinanze della centrale nucleare di Stade KKS.
I lavori di costruzione iniziarono nel 1957. Il primo blocco divenne operativo nel 1960. Il blocco 2 seguì nell'agosto 1962 e il blocco 3 nel febbraio 1964. La combustione avveniva tramite bruciatori frontali su 18 bruciatori a olio con una portata di combustibile di 1.700 kg/h per ciascuno. Tuttavia, la centrale elettrica, inclusa la relativa infrastruttura di stoccaggio, è stata ormai disattivata e smantellata. Poiché serviva principalmente per la fornitura di elettricità ad Amburgo e immesso l'elettricità nella stazione di trasformazione di Amburgo-Nord, all'epoca fu costruito il primo attraversamento aereo del fiume Elba presso Stade, l'attraversamento dell'Elba 1.
