Il lago Edersee è un lago a est del villaggio di Plötzky, che appartiene a Schönebeck, in Sassonia-Anhalt. Nelle immediate vicinanze ci sono diversi altri piccoli laghi. A pochi metri a ovest si trova il lago Giselasee.
Il lago, circondato da boschi, è nato a seguito dell'estrazione di roccia quarzitica. Tuttavia, nel 1923, l'estrazione fu interrotta. Il lago, situato nell'area di Plötzky, raggiunge una profondità di fino a 20 metri. Nella zona circostante il lago è stato creato un'area di svago, caratterizzata principalmente da campeggi permanenti e terreni di casette. Sulla riva est del lago si trova una spiaggia con un parco giochi.
