L'Angelo della Pace è un promemoria dei 25 anni di pace dopo la guerra franco-tedesca del 1870/71. Il monumento con il suo piccolo tempio mostra i ritratti degli Imperatori tedeschi Guglielmo I, Federico III, Guglielmo II, i sovrani bavaresi Ludovico II, Otto e Luitpold, il Cancelliere imperiale Otto von Bismarck e i generali Helmuth von Moltke, Albrecht von Roon, Ludwig von der Tann, Jakob von Hartmann e Siegmund von Pranckh. Nella hall del tempio ci sono mosaici in oro che ritraggono le allegorie della guerra e della pace, della vittoria e della benedizione per la cultura.
