Il castello di Delmenhorst, noto anche come Schloss Delmenhorst, è un castello d'acqua abbandonato sull'"isola del castello" al margine sud del centro della città di Delmenhorst nella regione di Oldenburg in Bassa Sassonia, nella Delmeaue. Il castello è stato per quasi 500 anni il centro della città e della contea di Delmenhorst.
Dopo la conclusione delle guerre di Stedinger nel 1234, i principi di Oldenburg fondarono nella paludosa pianura di Delmenhorst, iniziando con una piccola corte "De Horst", un castello d'acqua circondato da due fossati per garantire il loro territorio conquistato di Stedinger. Il 27 luglio 1259, il castello fu menzionato per la prima volta ... in castro nostro Delmenhorst in un documento ufficiale riguardante la sigillatura di una vendita di terreni da parte di Giovanni I di Oldenburg.
