Il macello in via Paradiesstraße 19 è stato inaugurato il 3 luglio 1901. Era di proprietà della città e ha funzionato sotto gestione municipale fino al 1977 circa, per poi essere venduto a un imprenditore privato che lo gestisce ancora oggi.
Il palazzo amministrativo è un edificio rappresentativo a due piani in mattoni, in stile neo-rinascimentale su un basamento in pietra lavorata. Sull'edificio si trova un avancorpo angolare con doppio tetto in ardesia e orologio. Il frontone è un frontone a forma di scia con inserti a obelisco.
