Il Grande Tornowsee è un lago di 10,3 ettari situato nel Parco naturale Märkische Schweiz, nel territorio del villaggio di Pritzhagen, una frazione del comune di Oberbarnim nel distretto di Märkisch-Oderland, in Brandeburgo.
Questo corpo d'acqua eutrofico, naturale, si trova a nord-est di Buckow, il centro principale della Märkische Schweiz, nella zona di transizione del versante sud-est del Barnim verso la pianura di Stobberniederung. Solo 250 metri a ovest, ma situato su un blocco terziario 17 metri più in alto, si trova il Lago Piccolo Tornow. Nel network Natura 2000, i laghi fanno parte dell'area FFH "Tornowseen-Pritzhagener Berge". Sulla sponda nord del lago, altrimenti circondato da foreste, si trova il ex feudo di Tornow. Qui ha sede, tra l'altro, la "Scuola al Lago Tornow", un'istituzione dello stato di Brandeburgo con un focus educativo speciale sull'evoluzione emotiva e sociale, ovvero l'autismo.
