Hosena, niedersorbisch Hóznja, è una frazione della città di Senftenberg, situata nel circondario di Oberspreewald-Lausitz, in Brandeburgo. Hosena si trova nella parte settentrionale dell'Oberlausitz, non lontano dal lago di Senftenberg.
La prima menzione documentata di Hosena risale al 1401, in un documento di Praga datato 28 marzo 1401. Qui il luogo Hosena è elencato come Gosde insieme a molti altri luoghi nei dintorni. Sono comunemente usati anche i termini gozd o hozd, sorabo per foresta secca o luogo boschivo. Il nome si è evoluto da Hoznja, Hozne o Hosna al Hosen usato nel 1687.
