Subito dietro il confine tedesco troviamo Rest. Haarmühle, vicino al mulino ad acqua omonimo. Inclusa in molte gite di un giorno, grazie a una grande terrazza e a un parco giochi per bambini. Dal aprile 1988, il vecchio mulino ad acqua del 1619 è tornato in funzione. Grazie al restauro, è di nuovo possibile visitare uno dei mulini ad acqua ancora in funzione più belli del Westmünsterland.
Nel novembre 2002, l'impianto ha ricevuto un acciaio zincato e una ruota idraulica ottimizzata, che permette all'impianto di generare anche elettricità.
