L'Acquario era un nightclub nel centro storico di Ulm. Divenne noto a livello regionale per i suoi ospiti illustri e anche per le sue feste sfrenate.
L'Acquario fu gestito dai ristoratori Garry Lottermoser e Manfred Zauter dal 1966 al 1999 a Ulm in Kohlgasse 20 nel centro storico.
Molti celebri tedeschi e internazionali come ad esempio Curd Jürgens, Udo Jürgens, Nina Hagen, la Spider Murphy Gang, Nana Mouskouri o Wolfgang Ambros visitavano regolarmente il locale quando si trovavano a Ulm. Ma anche star mondiali come i Deep Purple o Freddie Mercury erano tra i visitatori abituali. Freddie Mercury festeggiò persino il suo 39° compleanno all'Acquario il 7 settembre 1985 e intrattenne con Lottermoser e Zauter un profondo legame di amicizia fino alla sua morte nel 1991. Inoltre, li invitava regolarmente ai suoi concerti.
