Il principe arcivescovo Clemente Augusto di Colonia costruì un tempo una cappella da caccia per i principi-arcivescovi di Colonia in questa piazza. La usano per ampie celebrazioni liturgiche durante le lunghe cacce. Oggi resta solo una pietra commemorativa. Per non dimenticare, nel 2004 è stata costruita una nuova cappella accanto a essa. Un piccolo viale con alberi annuali conduce alla piazza.
I passeggiatori che devono trascorrere qualche minuto nella cappella possono accendere candele per una piccola offerta.
