1444 menzionato per la prima volta. Il mulino con il portale forma il termine della Libertà Superiore verso la Libertà Inferiore. Ristrutturato come struttura di difesa, l'edificio serviva in tempi di crisi per proteggere il castello. Nel 1910 la ruota idraulica fu sostituita da una turbina. Nel 1963 il mulino passò in proprietà della famiglia Beyer tramite acquisto dal conte di Landsberg. Fino a fine degli anni '60, l'attività del mulino, poi solo commercio di terra. Dal 1999 il mulino viene utilizzato solo per scopi abitativi. Una volta attraversato il portale, entriamo nel territorio della Libertà Superiore.
