Terreno agricolo o da pascolo, cava di ghiaia. Dopo il 1945, le macerie del centro storico bombardato e di Oberhausen sono state riempite qui. Successivamente, l'area è stata riutilizzata per scopi agricoli fino agli anni '80 ed è ora un impianto sportivo, dove si sono tenuti anche campionati nazionali come il Campionato tedesco di volteggio nel 1996 e il Nastro d'oro dei cavalieri dei pony nel 1997.
Oggi, cavalieri e cavalli si trovano in condizioni ideali. Tuttavia, in precedenza, erano stati necessari lavori vasti, principalmente svolti dai membri del club, con zappe, pale e caricatori frontali. Dal 1995, il parco del terreno ("sul punto più alto di Dorstfeld a sud del Lippe") è un campo di allenamento molto ricercato, adatto per tornei di club ed eventi più grandi.
