Tätendorf-Eppensen è un luogo nella Heide di Luneburgo nella contea di Uelzen, Bassa Sassonia. Tätendorf-Eppensen appartiene al comune di Barum e conta più di 300 abitanti.
In una menzione documentaria del monastero di Oldenstadt del 1006, il luogo era ancora chiamato Thedandorp.
La località di Eppenhusen è stata menzionata per la prima volta per iscritto solo in seguito. In un ulteriore documento di Oldenstadt del 1133 si parla di un "Ibiksen". Non è chiaro se si riferisca a Eppensen.
In un ulteriore documento dell'anno 1142, il luogo è denominato Eppensen. Secondo il ricercatore locale Adolf Bätge, questo documento sarebbe una falsificazione.
