Fyrkat era un forte vichingo in Danimarca vicino alla città di Hobro, tra Aarhus e Aalborg alla fine del Mariagerfjord.
Nell'anno 980, sotto il regno del re vichingo danese Harald Bluetooth, Fyrkat fu menzionato. La Danimarca conta cinque di questo tipo di forti vichinghi con un terrapieno intorno all'insediamento.
Il diametro di questa cinta muraria è di 120 metri, con una larghezza di 13 m. All'interno del recinto sorgevano 16 lunghe case.
