La Cattedrale di Santa Maria la Real dell'Almudena è la sede episcopale della diocesi di Madrid, Spagna. È lunga 102 metri e alta 73 metri; la sua architettura è un mix di diversi stili. Fu consacrata da Papa Giovanni Paolo II durante la sua quarta visita in Spagna, il 15 giugno 1993. È la prima cattedrale spagnola consacrata da un Papa e la prima consacrata da Papa Giovanni Paolo II al di fuori di Roma.
