De Kathedraal van Santa María la Real de la Almudena is de bisschoppelijke zetel van het bisdom Madrid, Spanje. Het is 102 meter lang en 73 meter hoog; de architectuur is een mengeling van verschillende stijlen. Het werd gewijd door Paus Johannes Paulus II tijdens zijn vierde bezoek aan Spanje op 15 juni 1993. Het is de eerste Spaanse kathedraal die door een paus is gewijd en de eerste die door Paus Johannes Paulus II buiten Rome is gewijd.
