Quirós è un comune del Principato delle Asturie.
Confina a nord con i comuni di Santo Adriano e Morcín; a sud con il comune di Lena e con la provincia di León; a est con i comuni di Riosa, Morcín e Lena e a ovest con i comuni di Proaza e Teverga.
Geograficamente è costituito da due valli: quella del fiume Ricabo, che nasce all'ombra della Peña Cigal e si rinforza con le acque che sgorgano dalla fonte Los Garrafes, e quella dei Lindes, originata dalla fonte di El Nacimiento, nel cuore del Porto Agüeria, molto vicino alla precedente e al confine con la provincia leonesa.
