Cotillas è un comune situato a sud-ovest della provincia di Albacete, a 156 km dalla capitale, tra i monti d'Alcaraz e del Segura. Con 176 abitanti. Comprende le frazioni di Arroyofrío e Río de Cotillas o Resinera. Cotillas era popolazione di Alcaraz, diventando poi una delle ville del Signorato delle Cinque Ville dei Manrique Lara, conti di Paredes de Nava, insieme a Villapalacios, Bienservida, Riópar e Villaverde de Guadalimar. Conserva le rovine di un castello, chiamato della Yedra, e una chiesa rustica probabilmente del XVI secolo.
