Cotillas ist eine Gemeinde im Südwesten der Provinz Albacete, 156 km von der Hauptstadt entfernt, zwischen den Gebirgen Alcaraz und Segura. Mit 176 Einwohnern. Dazu gehören die Ortsteile Arroyofrío und Río de Cotillas oder Resinera. Cotillas war eine Siedlung von Alcaraz und wurde später zu einer der Städte des Herrschaftsgebiets der Fünf Städte der Manrique Lara, Grafen von Paredes de Nava, zusammen mit Villapalacios, Bienservida, Riópar und Villaverde de Guadalimar. Sie bewahrt die Ruinen einer Burg, die Burg der Yedra genannt wird, und eine rustikale Kirche, die wahrscheinlich aus dem 16. Jahrhundert stammt.
